Remarks | I saw a huge fireball, presumably a meteor, from my living room window in Poulsbo last night. occurred at approximately 11:15 p.m. PDT, and was heading from the NW toward the SE, sort of from the direction of Pt. Ludlow and heading toward Mt. Rainier, over Liberty Bay and toward Bainbridge Island. It seemed very low and looked like it disappeared over Bainbridge, but I’m sure it was much higher than it looked. At first I thought perhaps a plane was breaking up in the sky, but realized it must have been a meteor, although it looked more in “flame†than other meteors I have seen in the past. |
