| Persistent train | |
|---|---|
| Observation | Yes |
| Duration | 3s |
| Length | 15° |
| Remarks | it started as a typical \"shooting star\", thin trail, quick moving but then flared into orange/red and became a fireball of rather impressive size. I have never seen one so big in all the years I\'ve observed as an amateur. |
| Terminal flash | |
|---|---|
| Observation | Yes |
| Remarks | It definately ended in a flash after flaring up. For a few moments I thought that it must be so close that I might see a flash of impact or feel a concussion. However, the flash occured in the sky and there was no subsequent concussion or any noise, etc. |
