Remarks I apologize, but it was well after I'd gone to bed and I'm not sure of the precise time. It was somewhere between 1AM and 1:30 AM. It appeared in the NE sky and was startlingly bright with lots of "sparks" and a very round trajectory. We are in a very mountainous area so it's hard to know if it may have hit the earth, as it disappeared behind a smalll (`2000 ft elevation) mountain nearby.
