| Delayed Sound | |
|---|---|
| Observation | No |
| Remarks | The car radio was on, so I probably would not have heard the sound, if any. |
| Persistent train | |
|---|---|
| Observation | No |
| Duration | -1s |
| Length | -1° |
| Remarks | Note: It was passing almost directly overhead and into the East Foothills, so I would have been looking at the back end of a rocket and the horizon at the foothills would have obscured any view of a train. |
| Terminal flash | |
|---|---|
| Observation | Unknown |
| Remarks | Perhaps what I saw was the terminal flash? I was riding in the car and the green flash suddenly appeared in the front windshield and immediately disappeared. I was taken by surprise, but was unable to locate it again and thought perhaps that was just due to its low flight path and the intervening foothills. The only thing I saw on the horizon was a dot of light, but it was not green and could have been an airplane (this spot is about 7 miles east and 1/2 mile north of San Jose International). |
