Remarks | This meteorite *looked* like it would have landed (if not vaporized) within 1 mile of where my mother and I were standing. We watched it travel between 30-40 degrees (fist at arms\' length) though I\'m not sure I made that clear in the previous questions. There was enough time to turn my mom around so she was able to see most of it, too. There were no fireworks or signal flares in the area. I was surprised at the color- very clearly green, though a light shade. |

Remarks | Just before it went out of view (about 10 degrees over the tree/building line, it broke into 3 pieces (one larger, 2 smaller). The smaller 2 burned out almost immediately. The largest apparent piece went dark just before it disappeared from view. |
