It was bright enough to get my attention from a dark room with the tv on. I got up from the couch and watched it "fall" or disappear...no flash or fragmentation but the TV was on so I don't know if there was noise. No moon was visible. There were lights across the bay at the docks that are fairly bright. I have only seen one fireball at dusk before...it was very similar but not burst. I am very curious to know what this meteor(oid) was.
