It was a \"holy cow, what was that?\" event. I have never seen a meteor traveling parallel to the ground.

It was a steady bright green object traveling at approximately 46 degrees. NW to SE across the Phoenix valley. It did not lose altitude in the SE sky, but disappeared from view.
