I read some of the other sightings and mine came from left to right from east to west. I live very close to the marsh closer to Delcambre and it looked to me like it would have fallen in the marsh or outer edges of the open water. But like I said I'm not a meteorologist so not sure of the accuracy of my description but I have been watching "falling stars" for years and this was different and much closer. The only thing I've ever seen like it was around the summer of 1997 there was a star burst in the sky. It looked like a star just exploded and fell apart. Didn't have a tail like this did. Still very cool and would love to know what it was. Even if it was that satellite they kept talking about. Thanks!
