Reports Report 1090a (Event 1090-2011)

Observer
Name Melony W
Experience Level 1/5
Remarks I would be interested to know if anyone else observed this phenomenon. Until tonight, I have never seen anything other than a shooting star. I had never heard of a fireball. If it weren't for all the online talk of "Elenin" recently, I would not have thought much about this sighting. But it was so many times larger, brighter, and obviously closer than any shooting star. I'd love to know more about it!
