| Remarks | although I have obeserved many meteor showers I have never seen a fire ball so am still not sure what this was. the white trail as it was falling gave the impression it was a plane as I was driving, slow in evening traffic, toward the airport and there was a lot of air traffic at the time. however when it suddenly flared and disappeared I realized it was either a meteorite or a fireball ( or the falling satellite - but I see that fell in asia somewhere ) so I am now curious what it was and haven't seen any postings by other on this sighting. I was driving with my daughter and see saw it as well. |
