Remarks | We were driving eastbound on I-10 just east of Beaumont, California. We saw a bright white meteor appear over us traveling in the same direction, and after 1-2 seconds it burst into an orange fireball, which lasted for another 1-2 seconds. As the fireball faded we could see fragments and smoke for another second. It was an impressive sight. |
