Observation Unknown
Remarks I saw a bright ball with a flaming tail falling from the sky (due North of Tempe AZ). It lasted about 10 seconds then went out. Only to return within a few seconds with a bright tail again then it appeared to explode and break into 3 pieces. Thought they were going to make impact but they dissipated. After they were gone; what we thought was an airplane on fire returned and began moving oddly across the sky for about three minutes
