Remarks | I was driving south on NY rt9 just north of Keene, NY. When I got home (Elizabethtown, NY 12932) about 20 minutes later I asked my wife if she'd heard anything outside. She replied that she had heard something like a low tone 'pop' about twenty to thirty minutes earlier. My home is on a north facing slope about 200' above, and just to the south of Elizabethtown. This is about 10 miles SE of the spot that I had seen the meteor from. |
