Reports Report 5360r (Event 5360-2017)

Observer
Name Alexander C
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks I was at my grandparents' house with my family in their front yard. There were some light clouds but the sky was pretty clear. It was crazy because I just kept looking up at the sky with the feeling that I would see something. I'm only used to seeing quick and faint meteors passing by. This was my first time seeing a fireball and my heart was pounding. It made no noise and I was looking at the area where it was at the perfect time. It was bright, lasted for a few seconds, and I saw it a little to the left of Sirius. When I saw it, I was just pointing at the sky and struggling to get any words out. I was trying to say "Look!", but all that came out was "Loo.. loo.." I think my family was only able to catch the end of it. It was such an incredible experience and the fact that it was my favorite color (green) made it even more amazing!
