Remarks | High level, broken clouds. Moon was mostly obscured, saw a brief shadow of my fence on the snow. First appeared in the handle of the big dipper. After it went over the horizon, about 7-8 degrees with mountains, a bright green flash illuminated the clouds. From my perspective, the Big Dipper is NE and the meteor's trajectory was in a slightly westerly direction. Hopefully it was seen in far northern UT or southern Idaho |
