Reports Report 43lh (Event 43-2018)

Observer
Name Joannie H
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks It was a phenomenal sight; a gift on a cold -35 night! I was talking on the phone as I was walking and stopped to describe the fireball to my friend ad it dropped to the earth. It was a “wow”; it stopped me mid-conversation - unbelievable. Green and white and yellow and so bright. It seemed to land so close off the horizon (20 Degrees?) that I walked out onto the lake expecting to find the debris just off the shoreline 200m from where I was first standing. Moonlit snow but I didn’t seriously look as it was freezing and I wanted to walk along a packed down snowmobile trail further out from the shoreline. I still want to go out and look, it “felt”so close. Amazing!!
