Reports Report 168kp (Event 168-2018)

Observer
Name Charles R
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks I am 65. Have had a lifelong interest in astronomy and have viewed many impressive meteorites. I have never seen anything like this. It was visible even through light cloud cover. It was like watching a rocket launch (in reverse because it was coming straight down) at a distance of 100 miles or more). We once observed a shuttle launch at night in Orlando and what I saw tonight was not nearly as bright as the shuttle launch at that distance.
