| Remarks | I used to be an amateur astronomer. The coma or leading edge was bright green, however the tail was long, narrow fan shaped tail that subsided to a red almost a dark magenta. I had been outside for over 20 minutes, shoveling so my eyes were acclimated. As is my custom, I looked up for a bit in the hope of spotting one. 10-20 seconds later, it appeared directly in front of me. It was spectacular |
