| Remarks | It was unlike anything I've ever seen. My husband and I are science educators. It was impressive to us both. I first thought a small engine plane was crashing because of the intense light and smoke. By the time my brain caught up to what I was actually seeing, it was gone. We ran outside to listen for impact, but heard nothing. For what it is worth, we live in a waterway community. I'm curious if the impact occurred in the ocean near Ocean Isle Beach, NC. |

| Remarks | It looked a ball of white light was on fire. I ran outside to see it closer, but it was gone by the time I went out. The smoke train was glowing around the white light and was gray smoke around the outsides. |
