I was viewing from a second story window close to the top of my ceiling It filled up my bedroom with a white light similar to a lightning strike, but the light lasted for a good 2-3 seconds before falling out of view.

It was bright white round circle about the size of a quarter and it filled up a large dark room with light. There was a flash and then it went down, falling completely straight.
