Remarks | I looked out of my east-facing living room window and noticed the (assumed) meteor fireball. It was low down in my field of view and travelling east, hence its angle was very difficult to judge. It was only visible for 2 to 3 seconds when it disappeared or went out of view. It looked quite big (it wasn't like a normal pinpoint shooting star) and was a orange/red colour. It's difficult to say how big it was, but probably like a full moon when high in the sky. I heard no sound, but then I did have the TV on. It was awesome! (but left me with a slight feeling of "did I really see what I thought I saw?!" it was there for such a short time). |
