I was on top of the Empire State Building looking south East. The meteor most likely would have been coming down over the Atlantic. It was travelling way to fast to be an aircraft of anything of that nature. Comparable to the speed of a normal meteor that you would see during a meteor shower . Except extremely bright and burning blue as it came down.

Remarks
Bright Blue light travelling extremely fast towards the ground. For about 0.15 seconds it disappeared behind a cloud before reappearing just above the horizon and again disappearing. It travelled from about 60+ degrees to 13 degrees in approx approximately 1 second.
