1. I don't know how long it was observable before I saw it.
2. After it came into my field of view it was over in about 2 or 3 seconds?
3. I was looking towards SAGITTARIUS (trying to find comet) in case the angles I picked on the survey are wrong. The object entered my left eye field of view because it was very bright and after about 1 or 2 seconds I looked to see what it was.

Semi glowing tail that looked like "embers" glowing, much smaller in size than main, which quickly fizzled out. Then the main object fizzled out / disintegrated.

Yes
Remarks
Then the main object fizzled out / disintegrated... almost like what I would describe as a small mini "star burst". But the flash was not much brighter than main object, which was very bright already.
