Remarks About 1 - 2 minutes I was still standing there reflecting on what I had seen and suddenly I heard what sounded like someone striking a bass drum once medium softly on the other side of a football field. This is a rural setting and it was dead silent otherwise. Quite a surprise (and bonus).

Remarks First appeared as a dull orange single spot not moving that quickly but steadily accelerated as it turned to bright orange and I think at least lines began about then. About 2 degrees later it turned green and definitely two lines , possibly three which continued for 10-20 degrees and then turned bright white and seemed a single object but could have been multiple lines as it went below my horizon.
