Remarks | At first I thought we were looking at an aircraft, but it quickly became apparent that it was not that. It was a beautiful light blue color, traveling in a straight line across the sky, from north to south. I have seen fireballs before but never one that maintained a steady altitude, or lasted as long as this one. At the very end it appeared to split into two pieces, then disappeared completely. It was awesome, and my wife and I consider ourselves very lucky to have seen it. |
