Reports Report 2386u (Event 2386-2018)

Observer
Name Sarah R
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks I have seen several of these green meteors since fall of 2015 (maybe), always coming from the west/southwest headed east/northeast, always the same trajectory. This one was the lowest, the first time I have also seen flames coming off of it. The others were just big, beautiful, glowing, green teardrops. Last night I had the chance to see it for longer come into my field of view as I sat at the stoplight. It appeared so close and on fire that at first I thought it was one of those fire kites, but then I recognized the familiar bright green, but it was like I could hear the fire rustling. I was on my way home from work, so I was not impaired in any kind of way. A friend sent me a link to your site. I am a Advanced Sky Warn Weather Watcher, but I have no official training in observing meteors. I can say from my limited experience in seeing these fireballs that it is not just a visual experience; every time I see one, I also feel it, like you can feel another entity in a dark room, you feel the presence of the meteor.
