It was unusual the way it seemed to maintain the same luminosity from it appearing to it did not fade out nor leave any type of Trail .
I'm so glad you asked the question about noise , because in 1999 I had a strange experience where I seen a fire door which is making noise simultaneously.. the previous year I had observed the Leonids , some of which made noise between 2 to 5 seconds later . This is one however alerted me to look up to observe it has it made a strange hissing sound. Thinking it was impossible that the sound can accompanying it . It promted me to do some research . A Professor in Australia whose name I think we Frey or Fry , had a theory that metal on Earth ie fences and railway lines , somehow can you catch the sound coincidentally we win next to a railway! . Being honest the science is a bit beyond me.
My partner at the time also witnessed it .we got home and we independently wrote down our data . It was almost identical. Would you be interested in me sending you this even though such a long time ago. Hope this helps.
