Remarks Map for drawing direction of viewing is neat, but cannot be erased if an error is made. To be more specific: Intial viewing direction 100 degrees from Polaris, 30 degrees elevation from ESE horizon, Azimuth 30 degree to 25 degrees, moving from upper right to lower left across 10 total degrees of sky. Remarks White sparklers trailing meteor along a 10 degree long tail. Some sparklers rose and some fell below line of meteor. All extingushed at same instant that meteor winked out.

Remarks At terminal approximately 0.2 seconds, meteor at head of train appeared to widen. Smaller bright white focus changed from 5 degree down slope from right to left to very brief upward slope, azimuth approx. 5 degrees, rising very lightly from lower right to upper left. Larger bright focus maintained 5 degree downward azimuth and winked out within 0.2 seconds.
