Observation No
Duration 4.5s

Remarks Not trained, did not have unobstructed view, was on balcony facing downtown Dallas. Entire view across horizon lasted @ 3-4 seconds, coming [roughly] NNW, headed SSW. Was not parallel to horizon, slightly descending angle, which did not match selections on this site. It was BIG, BRIGHT and moving FAST...no sound. Definitely not upper atmosphere. For comparison see: http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2009/10/091015-fireball-explodes-netherlands-germany-picture.html What I saw, main object much closer and/or larger, brilliant blue with some green tinges, surrounded by glow... almost perfect circle. Tail mostly bright yellow, some red, but no indication of debris/breaking up..and the tail was *maybe* a third of size of one in photo., and tail much more defined..think elongated triangle. Not positive if coincidence, or related to object, but heard muffled boom 60 -90 seconds after object left view
Terminal flash
Observation No
Remarks Pretty much covered in initial description..little fragmentation
