Reports Report 2856v (Event 2856-2018)

Observer
Name William S
Experience Level 5/5
Remarks Detected using a Watec 902H Camera fitted with a Computar 8mm f0.8 lens as part of the www.nemetode.org network. First detected at 21:36:31.8 GMT. Also detected from Leeds and hence a triangulated ground track has been determined. Appears to have been a sporadic with an absolute magnitude of -0.4 however this may be an underestimate given that the meteor was close to the horizon for both the Leeds and Ravensmoor observers and the brightest part of the trail may have been outside of the camera's field of views. Initial triangulation has this at 0.212E 53.402N at an altitude of 81.1km then heading NNE to 0.102E 53.974N at an altitude of 62.2km (thought likely penetrated deeper into the atmosphere further to the NNE). Vg = 5.7km
