Reports Report 3190f (Event 3190-2018)

Observer

Experience Level 2/5
Remarks This flash was quite quick. I saw it directly while staring into the nights sky. The series of events that occurred leading up to my witnessing the incident were the key to my glimpse of a rare and wonderfully beautiful ball of flaming space material!! How I saw this "event" : The "carbon monoxide" warning on all smoke detectors in my house activated a loud beeping before this event occurred- which prompted me to take my dogs outside to relieve themselves. I must watch over one of the dogs closely due to his fur being completely black, and us being outside at 4:25 in the morning. The black dog moves further away from the house toward the center of the yard as I follow closely. I peer at the beauty of the clear night's sky, look toward the aforementioned treeline and see a green ball of light moving very quickly in my perspective down toward the Earth. The ball emitted sparks of light in yellow-white color as well as a trail which was close to the same color as the sparks, but much more bright. The trail looked as if it were drawn behind the green flash by a needle point pen.
