Reports Report 3262jl (Event 3262-2018)

Observer
Name Chris B
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks I was talking on the phone and saw the fireball tracking towards the ground. I was looking North East and was shocked at how large and visibly close the fireball was to my location. It was brilliant enough for me to wonder if it was a plane crashing or a firework. There was no boom associated after observing the area for up to 10 minutes after I spotted the fireball. This fireball was far too large to be a firework, but it also was moving at a speed that seemed too slow for a normal shooting star. I was on the phone when the event occurred, so I gave a play by play of what I saw to the other person. In doing so, I remember a lot of the detail involved.
