Reports Report 3728u (Event 3728-2018)

Observer
Name Stacy C
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks I was on my balcony, talking on the phone with my mom, looking into the sky. I could see Arcturus directly in front of me (at about 45 degrees?), and the tail of Ursa Major a little higher to my right, and a bunch of planes closer to the horizon. Suddenly, I saw a “plane” much higher to my far left, and thought “Wow, that’s flying FAST! And it’s coming right towards me!”. It got bigger and brighter and then flashed, then flashed again, bigger and brighter, and the trail behind it looked like glitter!!! Would that be considered “fragmentation”? If so, that’s the first time I’ve seen fragmentation like that. I’ve never seen one quite like that before! It was amazing!!! ( : D (By the way, if there’s anything I can do to provide better data accuracy, please let me know!)
