Reports Report 3804s (Event 3804-2018)

Observer
Name CoRiccio B
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks At 3:19 - 3:20AM (CST), I was driving on I57 South near the Vollmer Road exit in the right lane heading to my exit at Lincoln Highway (Rt 30). I had a front row seat to the fireball show. NO OTHER VEHICLES WHATSOEVER WERE IN FRONT OF ME and the potential vehicles behind me were so far behind that it felt as if I was the only driver on the road. The fireball entered my view from the right and streaked clear across the crystal clear dark blue early morning sky. It seemed so close that I believe it landed somewhere in Park Forest, IL or the next town over. It was definitely coming in for a landing. Please, please, PLEASE contact me and give me updates. Thanks so much! The sighting was AMAZING!!!
