Terminal flash
Observation Yes
Remarks Bright flash lasting a fraction of a second, followed by dimming, then a second, brighter flash. Time from start of the first flash to the end of the second flash was about 1/2 second.
Fragmentation
Observation Yes
Remarks Glowing fragments formed a tail, from the beginning of the sighting to the end. I mistakenly thought it a firework at first, because the glowing fragments resembled sparkles from a magnesium sparkler.
