Remarks I was headed south toward Charleston SC, my exact location and time are estimated. I don't have a clock on the bike. It was in between towns in the middle of nowhere. There is no way anyone could have missed this. I saw a bright white light to my upper left it was moving extremely fast. Faster than anything I have ever seen before and it wasn't far away. It was so close that the 3 or 4 cars in front of me all hit their brakes, I did too. It looked like we were going to hit it. It was large, and then it started emitting blue colors and then the leading edge turned amber, like coals in a fire and started to separate and dissolve. This happened straight in front of me over the highway at eye level. The entire event was very fast, If it took more than 2 seconds for all of this to happen i would be surprised. It didn't blow up, and when I say separate it didn't fly apart, it's more like it burned out. It's hard to describe. It appeared to be close enough that I thought, any second now I am going to get pelted by debri. But nothing happened.

Remarks White, then it started to turn light blue, (like burning propane) the leading edge then turned amber, like coals in a fire and then it dissolved right in front of me. Cars in front of me hit their brakes, it looked like we were going to hit it, just before it disintergrated. I was on a bike and was waiting to get pelted with debri but didn't and there was no sound either. Or at least I didn't hear it, on a bike at 75mph the wind is loud.
