It happened really fast while I was driving and was off to my side. It appeared to be a smoke trail with a orange-redish hue that ended in a brite white explosion. It lasted just long enough to see it out of the corner of my eye and then for me to turn and look at it directally and still be able to get a pretty good impresion of what I was seeing
