| Remarks | We were close enough when the mass fell that we would have gone to collect it afterwards, but it was on a private fenced off land. It's probably still there :) We waited to report on it until we drove the road again this year, so that I could get a more accurate pic/satelite view of where we were at to report, as we were not thinking of all this at the time it happened. |

| Remarks | the fireball came over the hill by the west horizon, continued moving lower and curving closer to us in the sky, light went out into a trail of smoke about 30 feet from ground, and black mass fell about 100 feet from the highway we were on. |
