Remarks | This definitely looked like a meteor to me. After looking up pictures and videos, I haven’t a doubt in my mind. How cool! I had a hard time using the map on this website, since I’m on mobile. My friend and I had just gotten on the interstate, I26. Leaving downtown Charleston/King Street (South Carolina) and heading towards Columbia. Not even two minutes after we got on the interstate, we saw it. Off to our right, in the direction of Spruill Avenue. I believe that’s a North East direction. It was like a gigantic falling star, except way too big, and it was yellow/orange with a green trail. It looked like it sparkled a bit too. Very big, and only lasted a few seconds. |
