I was driving on the H.E. Bailey Turnpike (northeast) near Mile Post 74. The fireball started bright green and faded to dark green. It appeared east of the turnpike and I lost track of it as it passed behind a stand of trees in my field of vision. I could however see it through breaks in the trees.

A bright yellowish orange tail with sparks began at first then the ball turned green. By the time it faded the tail and ball were green with a green tail.
