I talked to my brother later that evening and he said that other people had seen it in Jefferson City MO and Tipton MO. I have been unable to locate details or other sightings of this meteor online.

Remarks
I was driving and a bright flash like lightening drew my attention to look out my driver window as I was heading SW on US 65. By the time I looked up I caught the last trail of the meteor as it exploded in two or three pieces. One part was bigger than the others, I failed to notice a trail left by the meteor or any sound as I was driving.

Yes
Remarks
As above. There were two or three bright pieces that I noticed, one was larger than the others.
