| Observation | No |
| Remarks | No sound. 4 people all talking in a small engined car doing 70mph with the windows up, could have been making a noise and we wouldn\'t have heard a thing? |
| Persistent train | |
|---|---|
| Observation | Unknown |
| Duration | -1s |
| Length | 2.5° |
| Remarks | White-Orange train with what looked like sparks flying off behind it, was brightest coming towards us and faded somewhat after passing us by. There were 4 adults in the car, some said it looked like a aircraft on fire, others like a firework or comet. It travelled horizontally in a straight line and must have been either quite near, or quite large? It seemed bigger than an aeroplane, though that might be because of the train? If it was further away than an aircraft was likely to be then that might explain why some people thought it was slow? Personally I thought it was travelling very fast given the distance it must have covered in about 10 seconds. I am 50 years old and observe the sky whenever I get chance, have seen some strange things over the years but this beat them all by a long chalk. If you ask me it wasn\'t landing or falling to earth anytime soon, and although it faded into the distance it clearly hadn\'t burnt out. |
