Remarks | At first thought it looked like 1 singular firework moving fairly horizontally across the sky fairly low down too. I did not need to strain my neck up to see it, it just appeared right in front of my eyes across the fields ahead (we were sat outside in the countryside- all 6 of us saw it). It lasted just around 3ish seconds, was bright white and had a trail behind its head which looked like a small round ball with a white line behind it and then it disappeared. It was fairly early in the evening too before the main meteor shower started. I have seen meteors before high up in the sky that are blink and you miss them moments but this was particularly low looking and bright, definitely something I have never seen before. |
