| Remarks | Multiple fragments that were orange in color (10-20 pieces). The main core was blue green (most likely an iron-nickel). Also note that the main center structure was 1-2 degrees diameter or larger. Again the center was disfuse and smokey I guess. I just wish that my SBIG AllSky camera had been recording. I had been trying for the last 2 weeks to complete my installation at sycamorestars observatory which is a 3 meter dome with the floor of the telescope at 32 feet above ground level (712 ft.) above sea level. located at 42.4467*N, 85..7112*W. no sound, I was driving into work and car radio was on. one hour earlier I was outside taking pictures of Venus, Jupiter & the Moon in the western sky with my grandson. |
