Reports Report 485a (Event 485-2012)

Observer
Name Sharon M
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks This meteor was larger in diameter than any I have yet seen, but of very short duration. Also I first noticed it as a flash of light over my head, but the object I saw was a very bright orange, and was distinctively disc shaped, discreet, no debris, no tail. It looked like a fast moving Frisbee of very bright light.I have seen at least 10 meteor showers in my life and I don't recall seeing anything quite like this.
