Remarks I was out photographing the eclipse, so the full moon was in partial (but not yet full) shadow. I spotted the green falling star in my peripheral vision; it was to my left (east) over the ocean, and I turned to saw the end of its trajectory. I saw it between 10:30 and 11 pm but could not see the time. I CAN tell you that it fell through the bottom couple of stars of the handle of the Big Dipper, if that helps. A fellow photographer with me did not see it, but he saw another one, also green, maybe an hour later, to our southwest.
