Remarks | The streak (I assume it was an Earth meteorite, because it left a streak, which means it was burning in the atmosphere. The moon has no atmosphere) It started to the west of the moon, and generally headed toward the moon, but the streak never overlapped the disc of the moon. At totality the moon was at about 57* above the horizon maybe? The streak ended very close to the disc of the moon. . Didn't last long. And it was right at the beginning of totality. |
