Reports Report 575cl (Event 575-2019)

Observer
Name Melanie J
Experience Level 1/5
Remarks Myself and the driver saw the fireball low in the sky and to the left in the front windscreen as the road veered left (so we both had a very clear unobstructed view) as we were driving NE towards Wetwang, he told me to look, and within seconds it had dropped below the horizon. It was glowing bright green, and whiter in the middle, and at first we thought it was a small aircraft on fire, but there were no orange flames, and when it dropped below the horizon and we heard no sound we realised it was further than the field or two away that it appeared to be. As we drove further along we noticed what appeared to be glowing fire and smoke in the valley to our left as we turned off at Fimber roundabout and climbed Fimber hill, but we couldn't get a clear view because of hedgerows and trees.
