I was parking in my car and only first seen it low in the sky. There are mountains where I live so the horizon is not 0 degrees. I was in my car with the engine running there may have been some noise. I watched there area for maybe 30 seconds after seeing it and seen no flash beyond the horizon. It was a very clear night and may have had a very small tail.
