| Remarks | Location was off of I90 approaching Buffalo around 8:30 pm. I’ve seen maybe 2 dozen shooting stars in my 40+ years of life. Some during meteor showers I woke up in the middle of the night to see, some just by chance. This was closer , brighter, and lasted longer than any shooting star I’d ever seen. It looked almost like a spaceship crash. Also it was more golden in color and was slower than the usual quick white flashes. |
